Through the act of giving free haircuts, Short Back & Sidewalks is creating positive connections with vulnerable and marginalised community members to build a stronger and more inclusive community.
Our impact
Since Short Back & Sidewalks started in Perth, Western Australia in 2015, we have given over 9,500 free haircuts and have had over 19,000 positive connections across Australia.

Short Back & Sidewalks is a not-for-profit organisation giving haircuts free of charge and free of judgement. Donations help us keep creating positive connections with and visibility for some of our most vulnerable and marginalised community members.
Volunteer
