We’re proud to announce that Short Back & Sidewalks founder Craig Hollywood is a nominee for Citizen of the Year at the 2021 Community Citizen of the Year Awards.

The awards reward and recognise Western Australian individuals and organisations making a notable contribution to the advancement and wellbeing of WA communities.

Craig’s nomination is fitting recognition of his tireless work in establishing, running and growing Short Back & Sidewalks, and reflects his drive to help as many people in the community as possible.

Short Back & Sidewalks not only assists people in need with haircuts - free of charge and free of judgement - it also creates visibility and meaningful connections for some of Australia’s most marginalised community members.

Established in 2015, Short Back & Sidewalks has grown from a Perth-based not-for-profit into a national not-for-profit serving a number of different communities across Australia.

We wish Craig well at the award ceremony.
