Meet the team: Craig Nicoll
In our Meet the team series, we profile our Short Back & Sidewalks volunteers and talk to them about their experiences volunteering with us.
My name is Craig, I’m originally from England and I’ve been a part of Short Back & Sidewalks for about 2 years. Although I’m still new compared to the majority, I’ve had such a great time so far with volunteering at the Martin Place events and most recently at Rough Edges in Darlinghurst.
I’ve enjoyed every minute and thrive from helping members of community in need by using my barbering skills to create happiness, positivity and joy. It truly is a passion of mine, seeing those big smiles at the events.
If anyone wants to be involved in volunteering with Short Back & Sidewalks, I recommend registering through the website and coming to an event. By using your skills to provide a haircut or by simply just having a conversation, you can make a positive impact to another person’s day.
Thanks to the organisers and to all the other volunteers across Australia for the work you’ve done over the years, and thanks to Craig for setting Short Back & Sidewalks up.
What a difference you’ve all made so far.
Thanks and see you down at the next event.
