Short Back & Sidewalks teams up with HoMie to deliver haircuts free of charge and free of judgement in Melbourne.

We're delighted to announce we’ve kicked off our Melbourne services in March by teaming up with our good friends HoMie, a social enterprise helping disadvantaged young people in Melbourne.

Short Back & Sidewalks delivered free haircuts as part of the HoMie VIP Shopping Day initiative, with barbers participating from The Bearded Man, Kings Domain Barbers and Renard’s Barber Shop.

For VIP Shopping Days, HoMie closes its doors to the public and invites young people connected to homelessness support services to shop for free at the HoMie Street Store.

Each VIP shopper is welcomed into their Melbourne store for a day of pampering and fun, including free brand-new HoMie clothing, haircuts, beauty services, and lunch.

We’re excited to take this next step of our friendship and collaboration journey with HoMie, and look forward to being a regular service at VIP Shopping Days in future.
